Poem: Cosmic Mother
Sharing words from my heart with you ~ many of you in attendance at Mystic Heart Sound Baths have inquired about words, poems and essays that I have shared during our time together. As requested, I will be sharing more of those words, either written by myself or other writers here on my blog. It is my intention to couple these words with my Lotus Wise photography images as well. “Cosmic Mother” (below) flowed through me during a drive along the curvy road, overlooking the incredibly majestic Chuckanut Bay on the way to Bow Sanctuary, on the morning of Mother’s Day a few years ago. Once I arrived, I immediately jotted what had arose and shared it with those who had gathered in sound that afternoon. I have subsequently shared versions of it since that gifted morning. Below is what I received:
the cosmic mother, the shakti, the life giving creative force that pulses through our lives, through our being, it is nature’s intelligence, it is our nature, the source of our innate wisdom
sacred mother, the divine feminine energy is intuitive, receptive and knowing.
she is transformative, she is heart centered, she is fierce, wise, sensual, creative.
she is the mystical, the raw, the wild and the powerful.
she is in every breath we receive.
she is in our laugh, our dance, our joy, our tears, our softness and our touch.
she is in our strength, our tenderness, our vulnerability and forgiveness.
she is in our art, our song, our music making
she lives within our internal fire
she is our passion
she is in every breath we receive
she is the fertility of spring, the abundance of the earth, the budding of new growth and
expansiveness - she is our evolution
she is the sap flowing through the cedar trees, the scent floating from the lilac, the unfurling of the fern
she is in the flow of the river, the sound of songbirds at sunrise, in the awakening of the day, carrying us from darkness to light. she is the moon that illuminates the night sky and the depths of the ocean
she is in every breath
she is the bosom that children find solace, the healing, the medicine, the nourishment
she is the fertile soil beneath our feet
she is in every breath
she it is in the moments of quietude and in the stillness
she is the whisper, the thunder clap and our wildness
she is in every breath we receive
she resides within us
she resides within all of us
call upon her
she is in every heart beat, she is in every breath
the divine feminine resides in the mysterious and harbors not only light but the darkness - in the depths of our womb space, the cave of the yoni,
the darkness, the very source of creation
she resides within us
she resides within all of us
call upon her
she is in every heart beat, she is in every breath
the sacred mother, creation itself
the inspiration that breathes us all, the prana - the life giving force, pulsing through our veins, through our touch, through our breath, through our hearts, through our dreams
she is the heartbeat of the planet, our highest knowing, the wisdom realm, our exquisite intuitiveness
she is mother earth and the generosity of the this gorgeous, intelligent planet
